IPA’s Red Team capability is unique in that our vulnerability assessments are conducted by specialized teams thoroughly versedin the tactics, capabilities, and limitations of real-world opponents as documented by overt intelligence collection and finished intelligence reporting on a wide range of international terrorist issues. 

Using the IPA non-traditional approach to Red Teaming enables us to work together as a team with customer personnel to determine and test the ability of existing security SOPs and personnel to more effectively protect critical infrastructure from an attack.

To foster a learning rather than competitive atmosphere we integrate customer staff  to our Red Team whose success is based on the activity of three independent but well coordinated groups:

1. A team that conducts a thorough and comprehensive target analysis of the designated   site ( passive and active collection)
2. A team that performs the actual tactical penetration and defeat of the site (to the extent requested by client)
3.  An experienced control team that works in close coordination with the client control cell.

The incorporation of a Red Team exercise program, including full-scale exercises, offers agencies      and jurisdictions a way  to test their plans and skills in a real-time, realistic environment and to gain the in-depth knowledge that only experience can provide.
